Hi. Just finished SNAG. Which was quite good, i swam 50 100 200 back 200 400 free and 200 fly.

Well, i qualified for Rome with my 100 back 58.19, then 200 back 2.08.29 200 free, 1.57.XX 400 free 4.10.XX 200 fly 2.15.XX 50 back 26.96. not bad, got 800 bucks from this meet, still lose to ting wen. but nvm. good enough for me. this holidays are going to be so boring. need to study for school. hai sian diao. but nvm i update cos elmo ask me update. :)

ok. 44th post.

so far i haven't blogged much about my swims but basically. summary of my 3 meets.

singapore open

50 back 27.44 it was good for me, meet record. which was nice and first place also. 100 back 59.33 first but no meet record. it was like 59.25. by coach gary tan. oh both records were his. then later 200 back. really died after the first hundred. went out a 1.01 which is quite crazy, but my timing was still ok. Although i think it should be better. maybe next time. err.. oh and 800 free. this was damn dumb. i had to swim it right after my 50 back heats. one 50m then get up go back to the other side and continue again. stupid refereeing.

then the next meet was in thailand sea age. hmm. the flight there was good. had good company and auntie elsie was beside me. then we spent the bus ride there playing bridge. ok. so on to the meet. 400 free i tried my best but lost still. either way, i think it was a good race. then 100 back won 59.8X also ok la. not supposed to do pb one. and next day 200 back. lost, got second again. but i tried also la. and last day 50 back. no pb again but still got win. hmm. then the rest nth much alr la. just enjoy myself and slack around. and we came back 2 days later. go there holiday.

last was school nats. 200 back 2.12 something. soso. 100 back 59.37. wasted but nvm meet record. and medley relay. luckily i tyco break my record. and free relay we got first. dinner was not too bad. and yea. thats all updated alr. you owe me sth for this. :)

i've decided to count the previous one as a post due to reasons confidential to myself. these few days after asean cup has been really slack without having much to do at home. except to eat sleep and study, all of which i have become really bored with after doing it so many times.

i guess the first thing i should talk about is asean cup. there really isn't much to say tho. we failed to accomplish our mission of bringing the cup back due to certain unforeseen circumstances, however, rest assured next year it will be back to sac. no doubt about that. the first day. i had my 100 backstroke, which was my most anticipated event. having missed out on the record of 59.65 during SNAG, i knew i had to do it in this meet. and i did. going out not as hard as SNAG, but still around a 28.7 i managed to survive the last 50 to touch home in a 59.56. which is not bad. though i'm expecting to go much much faster during sea age. then in the afternoon, i had 100 freestyle, which i have managed to go under 56 secs. tho still not top speed i think, it was reasonably well for me. and the 400 im, what can i say. its natural for me to lose the tze "the king" kang. no match for him really. so second it was. thats wrapped up the first day, and the second day, 200 back first event. 2.11.xx not sure what, sleeping the whole event till the last 50. or not say sleeping. it wasn't really all out. so i'm guessing i should be able to go much faster. although john expects a 2.05 from me. his reasoning is 59secs times 2 is 1.58 add 7 secs to that, i get a 2.05. idk what he means but nvm. thats my target. then after. 400 free. really nice race. coming back the last 50 in a 28 secs. which is quite good for me. medley relay in the afternoon. 1.00.13 i think for 100 back not sure. but sac still won in the end. 50 back great race for me managed a 27.52 for this. now after the under 17 record, i'm going to try for the open 50 back. which is currently 27.22. or around there. sooner or later i'll get there. free relay, i was second swimmer, but we still got the gold in the end. yea. so thats all about the swims over there. and the king kang broke the 50 fly national u17 record there. 26.15. faster than my free style. crazy. haha.

about the non-swimming part, everything was not that good except the bus rides
i think. the hotel was infested with mosquitoes. and air-con was non existent. toilet was scary.
but thats about all. and the gala dinner was lousy. no air-con. and jia hao kang jerome zach all went to lotteria to eat. and i would have been there. but it would've meant abandoning someone. so no cannot!. then last day, i lost my wallet. with 200 dollars inside. and i can't do anything about it so whats the point in scolding me now. cannot get it back right? i'll just break more records to get my money back. no problem. 2 records should suffice.

well basically thats all about asean cup. and this post is finally over.

41st post!

for those who don't know, snag just ended yesterday!! and it was horrible! yucks! damn lousy. well it was all those to me at least. i went in expecting a bit too much from myself, and perhaps caused me to not perform up to what i am capable of. so annoying.

1st day, 1500 free was a disappointing swim by my expectations. but at least i still got the meet record. and i have another year to try for the u-17 national record. either way, i made sea age cat A. so it wasn't that bad.

2nd day
in the morning i had 200 free relay, lead-off leg 1.59.xx dunno what also la. nvr go fast at all so didn't really bother to notice the time! although i wore the body suit. haha. which i felt really light in.
in the afternoon, 400 free 4.08.90 which was ok, although i missed the record but still pb. so its not too bad. then straight after 100 back. 59.75 national record 59.65 first place timing was 59.74. so i missed both by quite a bit. but its ok. i'm still young. one year to go.

3rd day
morning 200 free dq. so don't need to talk. 200 back 2.12.xx not a fast time but good enough to get gold.
afternoon pulled out of 200 fly because tze kang was swimming and he broke the u-17 and national record. so i cannot swim with him. he humiliates me everytime. and finally the 50 back 27.80 no u-17 record but meet record and enough to get gold for 15-17. oh and theres still the medley relay which we dqed in but the first 100 was super exciting. haha. zach ong and i swam the exact same time 1.00.08. but i guess he's better than me anyday. so this was not anyday, or wtva. i don't care.

milestone 40th post.

actually i wouldn't have done this if not for some particular person. won't name who. but since i was asked nicely by this person. so no choice lor. well first up. erm.. sac time trials? i qualified 50 100 200 back 100 200 400 free 400 im and finally, don't laugh. 50 breast stroke. how crazy is that? haha. well. go there and win the cup back! haha

last nigiht i did some o level paper. math and i got 92% and all the questions i got wrong, which was only 4 were stupid BLUR careless mistakes! so i guess i'll prolly should have gotten full marks! oh well. next time.

next cny. i lost three red packets. so i'm the poorest out of three siblings. or should have been if not for my gambling prowess where i was probably a gambling master. so i won 27 dollars. from black jack. whoa. it was crazy man. i was pooling with cousin leonard and we bet 5 each for total of 10 dollars and we were losing like crazy at the start and suddenly, turn of luck. i asked someone to wish me luck and we were winning like nobodies business. haha. but no more. its too nreve wrecking alr. can die one.

today we had pastor mark in church at indoor stadium. omg. its super funny and it was full house. i got a video of it. i'll prob show it some time later. but it was funny. then after that we had lunch at the brazilian restaurant near csc. and it filled me right up full tank and beyond! bloated! its like all meat and it keeps coming and coming until you probably have a stomach as big as john's.

today at church was pastor brian houston from hillsong! he preached not bad and there was this super funny joke! it was about this leader called george. so during autocall he was supposed to say george doesn't know you god knows you and jesus loves you. but he said it god doesn't know you jesus knows you and george loves you! lol.. and many ppl got saved when he said tht.

training has been good! really good! but details can't be revealed. =/ haha.. only really close friends like some ppl know! haha. only thing i can say is john said " im really satisfied with ur training now!" woohoo! thts good enough. haha..

i went for training late yesterday! because of chinese tuition. so when i got there, i had to swim by myself. =/ so boring! but thts not all. after i did the set, john ask me do 1500 fs/fly so i did lor. i doing happily until about 1.1 k then i decided to do ONE backstroke. little did i know, when i reach the wall john threw the bottle at me then scold me. =( wah. he scold until damn badly! so i damn sad lor. but i still went on to finish the set. wtf man. one only then make me until like that. =/ and now my arms aching because of gym. lucky we got no test today ah! the RGS only one week then got math test. haha.. so one of the students study until very late. so i also stay until very late to study also. but i ended up sleeping 3 times i think. sleep a while then suddenly wake up. walk around the house. drink eat sweets then go back lie down (try to) study and eventually fall asleep again! haha. but at least i tried. not bad alr. my only day to sleep somemore! haha.. but nvm. must do the impt stuff =)

last week in church i got healed of my back injury! woohoo! thanks to my father in heaven! =) i love jesus! and i'm just so into praise and worship music now! then i also ask shikaito listen. but when i send him one song he come and "one nia?" to me then i send two lor! haha.. i sent him tell the world and one way both from hillsong, anyone interested should also go listen to them!

happy new year! today was not too bad. we didn't do the traditional 10k set that we do every new years day! lucky man. todays set was suppose to be 8.8k i think 28x150, 28x100 then 28x50. but after the 28x100 everyone was hoping for a get up swim. and it started off with 4 guys swimming 100 free and 2 out of 4 must make their target time. unfortunately only 1 made it. adriel! so we couldnot get up. but fortunately someone saved the day. haha.. jk. i offered to be back up in case one of them didn't make the time. so my target was 100 fly under 1.02. some thought it would be easy for me considering i did a 1 min for my 100 fly the other day, but today i was damn tired. after a 150 m free push start 1.31 my hands numb alr. so everyone saw me swim funny. my left arm higher than the other or the other way round. but wtva i made the time! woohoo! 59.8X not bad close to pb. and needless to say we manage to get up and head down to the potluck! and stuff ourselves. not like i ate much. yep.. thts all for today.

what a week it has been! and i realised how long it has been since i updated. i'm just here to celebrate the end of hell week. to take on anon. todays swim was probably the best of the week. with my back injury i still managed for the 3k for time to do a pb! 35mins 37 secs. first 1500 meters 17.47 2nd 1500 17.50 coach prob didn't expect an even split thats why he estimated after the first 1500 i would finish in about 35mins 50 secs. well. i pushed myself thanks with the help of mark tan for the 2nd last 100m and managed to prove him wrong. kenneth lim. after getting laped by me, he was riding my wave for about 200 meters. joel said he saw it damn clearly. but it doesn't matter to me. not like it affected my time.

thats all! nothing to say.

kidnapping of south korean

This event, I am quite sure, has come to the attention of almost everyone globally, shocking most people when the headlines of the news read “23 Korean hostages held by Taleban” When I first read that, I didn’t think that they would actually do any harm to the hostages, until a few days later, I read that 2 of the South Korean hostages were killed in an attempt to pressure the government to meet their demands quickly. It was at that time that I felt that the rest of the 21 hostages were most probably doomed. I really didn’t think that South Korea would be able to meet the deadline so quickly, considering the amount of paperwork they had to do, the pressure from the public and the family members of the hostage and the crucial decisions. Billions of people were awaiting to see the outcome of this situation and they had to make the best decision, even though it was kind of a lose-lose situation for them. However, despite the delays, the remaining hostages were spared and were released almost unscathed. Except that they were affected mentally.Nowadays, there’s a different kind of warfare besides the usual one. There are many types in fact, biological warfare, urban warfare, just to name a few. The one I am referring to is psychological warfare, whereby they target the mental wellbeing of the victims and the affected; in this case, the Taleban is sending an indirect message to other countries to prevent them from sending troops in to Afghanistan less they get into the same situation. Also, after this incident, I am quite confident that South Korea wouldn’t dare to deploy anymore troops into Afghanistan.Though the trip should never have been made by the missionary group, it was out of goodwill that they did it, and I feel that they have not done anything wrong. Yes, they have caused trouble and a lot of inconvenience for South Korea’s government, but who would have expected that they were to be abducted and held hostages? If they saw that coming, I am sure they themselves wouldn’t have made the trip. They were very thankful to the government for doing their best to ensure the hostages’ safety. If I were them, I would be too. In fact, it would be relieving to know if we have this type of government to back us up. At least, then we know our safety would be fought for. I felt that the government handled the situation rather well. They were very diplomatic and did their best.

this should be my 29th post. so tht means im gonna hit 30 SOON. in probably about 1-2 months. and im updating only because i have to provide my sister with the details of my swim in AAG. about how i lost the stupid 200 and 100 back.. and basically update her on life in sg

i know im late updating about asian age but its only because nth to talk about. my swims were terrible. partly due to the stiff neck injury i had just 2 days before departure. so it was no training on monday due to stiff neck. tuesday got there to feel water. not much swimming. wed bear the pain and do some light work and thursday train a bit. friday leave. so my preperation was ok until one week before when everything screwed up. needless to say my swims were shit.

in order of days.

1st day 200 free
2.01.25 super slow. Should be happy that my times were a little faster than the 14 yr olds. ;) nick ho and clement. They’re hardcore. Super fast. Going to win me sometime soon. Ok they alr won for 50 and 100 m but im still a little ahead in the 200s and above. so got to maintain it. Solution? Train harder.

2nd day 50 back
27.76 I don’t know if i should be happy or sad about this because its EXACTLY the same time as what i did for school nats 50 back leadoff for medley relay. ( in which the RI guys broke the record in) haha.. so no Nat record. no money no nothing. My competitors were really HUGE! all like about half -one head taller than me -.- yes I know I’m small/short/puny. Whatever. I gave them a fight David against goliath. It was then that I found out GOD LOVES ME!! =)

3rd day 100 fly / 200 back
100fly-59.57 I reckon this was probably the best swim I did for the AAG. Got into finals, tho wasn’t expecting to. And this was the event nick sim got his individual medal in. Congrats man..
200 back- 2.17.XX really slow PB + 7. I freaking hell estimated wrongly. I calculated that a time of abt 2.16 would get me into the finals so I didn’t go all out. But I also did not expect such a slow time too!! Needless to say, qualified 9 place no finals even tho I was expecting to. Major screw up. This was what made it suck more, I could have gotten a bronze for this event IF I did my best. Or close to it. F man. Solution? Train HARDer

4th day 100 back
100 back-1.01.69 what a sc time. PB + 1.6 secs even though I went hard for this event I’m not sure how I arrived at this fking time. yeah and I got 9th place again. For those who don’t know swimming, onl the top 8 get into finals so my main backstroke events all missed by a spot. I COULD have gotten a collection of gold silver bronze if I did my best for this. Could’ve WHOOP ASS!! But didn’t. so NO SILVER NO COLLECTION -.-
Solution? Train HARDer

So therefore I will Train HARDer. I think its also partly due to the injury if not I think it would be NO PROBLEM MAN!

So Other than that nothing much. Room mate was JOEL LIM. And we had the best room ever. Directly beside dining area ^^ but still we were almost last to every team meeting /dinner/departure/ etc.. reason being that we were DOING our work on the computer. Or more likely he was doing. And I was erm.. watching? Yeah but I think we had a great time together but pity we did not get to bathe together. Hahaha.. kidding… AND ON THE LAST DAY SOMEONE NVR PACK THE LUGGAGE -.- and I had to help someone pack it. Haha.. and of course we were last again. But rooming together was fun and I think we should room again for AIG. PS2 MAC PSP . we’re going there for cyber gaming contest. ^^ oh! And I helped him submit his AIG forms too. So basically he is indebted to me. (but I also had to cause if he doesn’t go for AIG, then there would be no recreation-.-)

And we almost missed the flight because the jia hao could not find his passport, or actually the team manager could not find it. So we wasted 20 mins standing outside departure waiting for the situation to be salvaged.

I need to hone my dota skills…

ok i was just going thru my archives and guess what? in december 2005 i wrongly accused peishan of laping her and promised there will be a next time. well, the next time has arrived. i am pleased to announce that i laped everyone in the squad for 1500 free time trial. except for marcus cheah and nick ho. thats all. but still from a 3k i didn't lap, 1.5k lap so that means 3k now = lap 2 times.

anw. about asean schools. it was quite boring i guess nothing much. times 100 back 1.00.3X first record 400 free 2nd 4.12.XX and finally 1500 free 16.41.XX first. and i think im the only one that got 2 individual golds. from the singapore team. not counting relay. the rest nothing much

oh and i have great news. for the first time in the history of my life in ri, i got a greenslip. which means my parents DO NOT have to meet with the teachers for PTA. reason being i am a good boy in class with good conduct and good results and did not make the teacher cry. i think im good!! oh and i got 56/80 for chinese which i made 3 careless mistakes if not i would have gotten highest in my class. wtf man.. i cancelled out the correct answers and changed it into wrong ones.

finally!! sg open over.. and i think i did not bad. considering some guy stepped on my finger. hahaha..
ok my first event.. 200 back. pb by 2 secs. which meant i did 2.10.94.. it was quite unexpeted. hahaha. but i did train hard for this event.. yah and next is the 400 free.. 4.22 this one was quite slow.. considering i did a 4.15 for my 1st 400 of my 800 fs.. so nothing to talk abt.. after my 400 fs was 100 back.. i did a 1.00.16 which i am proud of but also a little sad cause i did not go under a minute.. but still it was a good job. then last day. i did 50 back in the morning and i tried on my suit.. whoa. i felt super light in the water and i managed to achieve 28.30.. pb!! i got a 28.35 for sea age but dq.. so wasted!! yeah and finally.. my 800 free.. my best event!! hahaha.. i managed to get a gold for this event!! and hit my target of going under 8.40.. but jed and rachel goh wasn't there to cheer me on!! hahaha.. at least the coe guys did.. i saw marcus waving the flag like crazy.. hahaha.. that pushed me to sprint harder.. yeah.. and basically i sprinted from start to end.. 59 at the 1st hundred.. hahaha..but luckily it made up for the other times that were above 1.05 pace..

so basically thats all for sg open..

wth! this is the first year i went for swim camp and someone stepped on my finger and it hurts like hell. whats more, after stepping on me that guy just ran away!! probably cause i was shouting and the next thing i knew that guy disappeared. he run dam fast lah.. and i think he was quite fat too.. cause the weight on my finger was like super heavy. i think he fractured it.. but i will hunt him down.. with the help of jed and kristian, the school will not be a safe place for him alr.. hahaha.. just kidding.. i give him chance if not i have to make public apology for bullying..

despite the pain in my finger, i still managed to clock 2.03 for my 200 fs t/t today.. not bad considering i could not feel that finger.. yeah.. and after trng we went for gym and did some shit inside. like spraying some disinfectant onto tingwen, kicking the trigger ball and looking at ming sleep.

hopefully my finger will be better by sg open..
and get easy set (from) today (onwards)!!

19th post..

whoa! sea age finally over. and it kinda sucked.. (i think) mainly because it was in s'pore. it was super boring. and the dance was like arrgghh!! and to top it off i was disqualified for my 50 backstroke. that meant i did not get the u17 national record. best boy award and my birthday present. although it did help the thai team to get overall 2nd. because my gold was awarded to puttipong the backstroker that was fighting with me to "dominate" the backstroke events. so i lost. 1 gold in the 200m back compared to his 2 golds in the 100 and 50 backstroke. heartbreaking man.

however i am proud to say that i have done not bad for my other events considering i got 4 pbs in my 400, 1500 freestyle 200fly and 200 back. my 50 back would also have been a pb if not for the disqualification. and that is without taper.. so im hoping i can go alot faster during sg open..

the dance.. i did it with sarah lai. scott's sister. she's ok lah.. at least she remembered the steps. actually i also remebered it cause it was so freaking easy.and for cheerleaders i think it would be easier. so basically the dance was boring..

and yesterday was my b'day!! and.... i got an ice cream cake from swensen's and guess what... i got the cars version with lightning mcqueen on it.. hahaha.. its damn cool.. i have the pic somewhere i think i'll put it on someday.. if i feel like it. (probably never..) hahaha..

Governments Pay Rise: It pays to be in government. Article found here.

Personally I feel that this does not make any sense at all. Are they just capitalizing on the supposedly wealthy economy of Singapore? It is stated that this is to prevent corruption and attract people of the highest qualification. Otherwise they would head into the private sector and earn more money compared to working in the government and earning less. Does this really justify why the government’s pay should be so high beyond sight? I think not! To address the issue, firstly the part of attracting people of greatest qualifications. This way, does it appear that the government is working for the money and not their patriotism? Judging from the way the government attempts to protect their actions, shows that they are money-minded. This is to say that the main driving force for doing their job is not patriotism but money. If they are not fully into the job with love and passion for Singapore, can we trust them in committing to Singapore, serving for Singapore? I believe that we can’t entrust this heavy responsibility to them and hopefully you agree with me. I think that Singapore is served better with a party that is in it for their passion for politics and not money. The government led by Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew had launched a major campaign in the media and Parliament, where he controls 82 out of 84 seats, to convince the nation but needless to say, failed. It seems to me that only the one’s receiving the pay rise is supporting this nonsense. I believe that they should heed this famous quote : “Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country.” This I believe is the perfect example they should follow. Are they asking what Singapore can do for them? Yes. And are they asking what they can do for Singapore? The answer is obvious. If we carry on from above, we can easily rebut this statement. With people who are sincerely passionate and willing to serve wholeheartedly for Singapore, will it be possible for corruption to still exist? On the contrary, if you have a group of people who are serving for the money, wouldn’t it be even easier to bribe them or cause corruption with money as well? If you don’t understand this, in simpler terms, a person serving not for money will not get influenced by it, but someone who regards money as the highest possible form of status would easily be overpowered by it. The person making the statement of this being used to prevent corruption is indirectly labeling government workers as money-faced. Is this not true? The statement also belittles the ability of the Singapore government accusing them of being easily seduced by the lure of money. I do not disagree with the fact that the government has indeed done a good job for Singapore, but if it is only because there is cash involved, then they are not doing good enough.

I feel that this sand ban is useless. There is no point in it at all. Despite allegations that it is to "hasten the process of deciding on agreements on extradition and defense" does it really help? Impatience on the part of the Indonesian government could be the cause of its downfall. The sand industry in Jakarta has a rich history with Singapore and they are willing to throw it all away because of "impatience". It is stated that the pressure applied would cause Singapore to make a decision in a lesser amount of time than without the ban. Seriously how naive is that. What the fish are they thinking? Little do they know that this ban is bringing upon harm to their own economy. The sand industry have less income as most of Singapore's sand is imported from there. They will lose a big chunk of their income due to this ban and because of insufficient income, it will lead to retrenchment of workers in that particular industry. Haven't Singapore discovered a way around numerous encounters? For example the water crisis. Did they think that this would put much of a pressure on us? This is actually no kick to the government of Singapore. Sooner or later, a new solution will be found and people will regret trying to take on Singapore. Then during that time, they will try to promote whatever they tried to take away from us. However it will be too late then as we already have another alternative. It is quite obvious that the sand ban is not supported upon by the residents of Indonesia. Judging by the reports of smugglers trying to illegally trade sand with Singapore, certain people in the sand industry realize the vast impact that this ban will have on them. I believe that they have greater foresight than the people who imposed the ban. Hopefully this ban can be lifted and greater cooperation can develop between the two countries.

actually, this is my 14th post for this blog and not 12th. so thats an achievement. is you don't believe can go count. anyway we had a soccer match against APS and .. we lost.. by two goals. 2-0. thats damn sad. but anyway. i believe we played well, just that the referee was a bit **** and whats more jia hao took the match ball home last week and he didn't come today. why? because he was sick..

anyway, i just finished my CT thats why i have enough time to waste on blogging.. hopefully i will be able to do well and erm.. pass.. i bought a new rubik's cube yesterday, not the 3x3 cube but the 4x4 one. it cost like 25 bucks.i only managed to solve it once with a little help and it took me damn long. but the cube is super smooth. probably thats why its so expensive..

played dota with shengjun lucas and polly just now and go owned. but thats not surprising considering how noob i am. right sheng jun? he was owning the match with enchantress and yeah, we lost.. we which is me and lucas. lucas is the one that shuyong likes.

hey!hello.. long time no blog.. nothiung to say then . now got a bit of things to say.. about asian schools.. i did 10174 for my 100 back. that was mt only good swim for my meet. the 400 free was crap. 4.20. i also didn;t know what happened to me. it was honestly damn slow. i went slow in the morning and even did a 4.19 i went fast for the finals and i got a 4.20. it doesn't make sense. last day i had 50 back. which was quite ok.. 29.18in the finals and 29.17 in the morning. now i have to wait until i qualify for queensland then i can go overseas again. and that will be next year. so long more. i hope they find another meet that i can qualify for this year.

the shopping there was good but i couldn't find anything to buy. the food was also good. but the shopping wasn't the main part. the best was the extreme game. we had a gun. and you know we shot here and there and everywhere. and got a taste of a gunshot.

the dance was ok. and at first i had to do it with shuyong? then i was :( damn sad/depressed. i just sat there looking as if it was the end of the world. i mean, dancing with shuyong. argh... it sucks. but luckily for me i had a change and got ting ting instead and the guys made the dance more interesting. as it was done by the guys.

the funniest was one night shuyong and lucas, the main characters. llucas was controlling the music for our dance and he was lying on the sofa holding the apple, then shuyong holdong a pen went there to tickle his foot. he got a shock anf sat up and we could see the shocked look on his face. looks like shuyong has got a new target. from ni***las to lucas. lucky for lucas, he will be quiting swimming and won't get to see shuyong anymore.

we watched lots of videos on you tube about dave chapelle,hardgay ,terminator southpark and scary movie. i miss asian schools like i missed sea age and australian age... well today is a new day.and the response to the show has been overwhelming.

ok.. just to update before i sleep.. 10th post and after singapore open.. now. how do i rate my performance i give myself 7/10 my younger sis 6/10 and my older sis 9/10... reasons?..
first on eve= she never do pb only care about her tadpole.. then after one day then the tadpole all die.. then guess what... she cried. and the tadpoles were from ziyang.. so touching right? but at least her 200 back got medal.
my older sister 5/pbs out of her 6 events. she lost one point for doing so lousy for her 200 back.
but 50 back under 30 50 free under 27 100 free under 59 200 free under 2.10 not bad for her lah..
my turn... haha.. first 200 fly 2.14 ok not bad.. then 50 back 29.62 no good 1500 16.55.71 very good. under 17 mins and my target was just to go faster than ting wen.. and i did.. and i owned christel and wanting.. well thats not surprising at all/ haha. then 100 back 1.03.37.. ok lah not good not bad then for my 400 free 4.14.81.. good .. i did pb and again owned the girls ass.. 200 back.. not very good.. 2.18 then 800 free.. 8.51.. thats not bad.. at least below 9 mins..
i feel so angry for falling sick before sing open.. arghh. but well.. i have school nationals...

my 9th post for this blog and that is pretty miserable. but this is just the beginning. i haven't updated since we left for sea age and that is quite a long time. however i feel quite bored thinking of what to write. ok now about sea age first...

i'm probably the last person on the sea age team to write about it on the blog but anyway its never too late. So at the airport.. i found out i was sitting beside tze kang my roommate that was good news but behind us were three very irritating girls zhe kang, kimberlyn and christabel (sorry about that jia hao). yah so the trip there wasn't so fun with the three talkative idiots behind non-stop chatting forcing me, my roommate and someone else (forgot who) to be unable to rest. so we watched the pink panther. it was very funny but the bad thing was we were unable to complete watching the whole show :(

next we went to the hotel. the trip took about 45 minutes and then we had to wait for our rooms. tze kang and i got room 549 just opposite jia hao and joel tan JY and diagonally opposite austin peh and nicholas chew. ok.. then its nothing much until the 3rd night. i was about to go and sleep when joel tan JY called me to his room. so.. i took my card and made my way to his room. then he told me of their plans. their= jiahao and him. they were going to call zhekang a.k.a monster/berry and talk about christabel a.k.a traffic light. so the details are first jia hao said" i want to talk to traffic light." then she came " so you want to know if i think you are pretty?"
then she said yes . so jia hao said yes, i think you are damn pretty and you are damn hot. under encouragement from me and joel.. after that jia hao added do you like me? i just want a yes or no. but you know what traffic light said.. she said i don't know. so jia hao said NO!! i don''t want to hear i don't know.. tell me yes or no. then we could hear the stupid monster talking in the back ground and then traffic light said i'm not sure. so jia hao said as i told him to.. i don't want to hear any answer with uncertainty. then guess what? traffic light said but i don't really know you that well yet. so me and joel after hearing that were laughing like mad cause it was just sooo funny. and he told christabel that he wanted an answer by tomorrows breakfast. then we all went to sleep.
(there are supposed to be more but it would take too long to write them all down but these are the highlights. )

ok my events .. 400 free- i was like quite far behind everyone but i just went on swimming accelerating for the last 200 and managed to catch up by 1 body length and for the last 50 i thought i was first but little did i know there was already another guy like 9 seconds in front and i was like .. shit man! 2nd
then 100 backit was also wasted lah. if i just swam better tze kang and i would have met our target of 7 golds but too bad. 3rd
next day 200 free.. better not talk about it. unplaced :(
the best 200 back. the most exciting race that i swam. the dude from malaysia was like 2 body lengths in front of me for the first 100 the thailand guy 1 body and everyon else a bit in front. i did not give up and 3rd 50 caught up equaled the guy from thailand then last 50 it was crazy.. i was like accelerating like mad and in the last 50 i managed to win the malaysia guy.. who was 2 body lengths in front at 100, 1 body at the 150 and i was 1 body lehgth in front at the 200. yeah man. 2.16. that was like 2 seconds in front of him so that was a 1st
the rest not very exciting.
3rd day.. my birthday.. but i had 50 back and 200 fly that day. and yeah it was also the last day of competition. so at night after dinner they surrounded me to sing the birthday song and then joel appeared out of no where and smashed the cake in my face but i reacted in time, ducked and the cake only hit my side, however this would not have been possible without my dear friend jia hao warning me of their plan. but this made my sister err.. angry..

as you all know the cheongsam lady. well lets say i was the first to have an encounter with her.. so you all know that the emergency exits are at the end of the corridor. i was walking down one of that in the middle of the night at about 1 hour past midnight and when i walked out. push open the door there was this lady dressed all in red wearing cheongsam her heels at one side pale faced. staring directly at the door that i came out from. which means at me lah. holy shit man. i got a shock but didn't sceam or faint. i also don't know why. but i didn't. then i pretended i couldn't see her and walked away from her.( that was the only thing i could do. you don't expect me to punch her and see if my hand could go through..) so i walked away and then this group of girls came out from one room and told me she looked like a ghost, they didn't have to remind me.. then from the lift a group of them came out and we went to check her out. so we cautiously made our way to her. then she screamed.. my older sister, just grabbed my hand and ran, i also had to follow or risk falling down like pei shan.. and nicholas just stood there.. he was like.. not scared and went to talk to her. and we found out she was waiting for someone and screamed before we could scream. yeah! so that was about it. and that was sea age.. quite fun i should say..

hi, this is my 8th post for this blog and i just decided to update because i believe all blogs are meant to be updated and should be updated. ok so whats there to blog about? nothing. so i will just stop here.

sea age is in 17 days time and we have already gotten our attire and everything. i hope that i will be able to do well even though we are not going to taper for this meet. i'm glad i still have my roommate, tze kang. i'm very pleased. i'm one of the lucky few that have chosen our roommate and not changed by john. probably because i have self-discipline and are unlike the other girls in COE.

just to update i have recently gotten some COE boys and a few girls to start paying dota. we are starting a dota clan at coe and we are going to own... another thing i am still thrashing gareth during training as i have already dedicated my life to that.

hi, finished my 1st day of my NAG yesterday. i did not bad but there is still another 4 days to go. hopefully i can do as well as the first day. 4.21.99 for 400 fs, 1.02.66 for 100 back, 1.02.01 for 100 fly. my fly events still faster than back. lucky for my. btw i qualified for aussie age and sea age alr, that means i can't go for my schools europe trip. but honestly i prefer to race and the sea age meet is still on my birthday as it has always been. 4th june, so we get to celebrate my birthday there. on the 2nd day of NAg i have 50 fly and back, and 200 fs. for my third day i have 200 back then 1500 fs on the very last day its 200FLY. then we can slack and rest and play but have to study for common test. that sucks but no choice lifes like that. so thats pretty much what i have to say today. so see ya later.

Hi everyone.now about that topic. Basically I think that they should not be banned because it is not the ribbons and foam sprays fault but the fault lies with the people that misuses them. It would be unfair to deprive everyone of a chance to have fun just because of some other peoples abuse of the privilege of using foam sprays. So instead of disallowing people to use foam sprays, we should ourselves be alert and not think that everyone around are decent people. We have to have a bit of doubt about our surroundings. Therefore the responsibility lies on us. However it would be better if there are guards constantly on the lookout to prevent any unpleasant surprises.

Now back to unofficial stuff. Today at training I held 31s for my 10x150 (100fs-50fly) that is considered great as the intervals were quite short. john also commented on my good training attitude. I will try to keep that up. I think I lost my goggles and my program sheet, the thought of that frustrates me. I hope nobody has taken it, because its really my lucky pair of goggles. If anyone finds it please return it to me thanks.

On sat I went lanning with my friends and I used skeleton king. It was a good hero although I only got one kill but that was because my friend stole all my kills. After some practice I will improve and will be able to get more than one kill.

my 3rd post for this blog and i say this is quite an achievement for me because i have never ever posted 3 consecutive post in one blog before, like i said this blog is going to be updated and i kept to my word, there will be much more to come so brace yourself for you are in for the greatest blog of all, which is mine. just kidding by the way.

i heard that pei shan got an invitation for the sea games appreciation and presentation dinner, at first when i just got the invitation, i thought i got it because my older sis went for the sea games, but now that pei shan also got invited, it will remain as a mystery.

i have been training very well for the past few days since i got back from qld, like when we had a 3k timed set, iwas super on and clocked the fastest tijmes in the squad for the 1k, 1.5k, and even 2k but after that i died, however i still consider that great cause i got 4th just behind marcus, zhi cong and nicholas and i owned gareth by more than 45 secs. on top of that i laped deborah 4 almost 5 times , lynette 1, cameron i think1, scott 2, christel1, leonard 2 almost 3,ting wen 1, pei shan 1. i think thats about all.

yesterday we had 2 x 400 fs on 5.30 desc 1-2 , for the 1st 200 of the first 400 gareth was in front of me then i felt that he was being too much of a dick so i accelerated and won him. for the 2nd 400 i was in front of himall the way . i have dedicated my life to thrashing gareth in swimming.

cameron is leaving soon on sat, so no more oober dual master decks to play with and i won ming in duel masters, 3 times that should make all of you very happy, right. bye cameron hope to see you soon, so thats all i have to say now. so goodbye.

hello this is my second post for my blog and i have just returned from my qld trip and i got 1 gold and 1 bronze. i think that was quite good for me. qld was fun if not for the fact that my younger sis was there and jed now likes a jellyfish. gerald wants to increase his bust, mark just got his button pushed and now zi yang likes eve.

my training yesterday was very good and i owned gareth. yeah!i guess i will just keep updating and see you later.

Hello this is my first post and i am just in time cause i need to go for training. i just had my science common test to day and it was quite ok. i have one more paper to go and that is maths. i hope i can do well for my maths tomorrow. then it will be great. after my test then it will be havoc in my house cause my siblings have already completed their exams. yay. we can now play and slack and ... just train. i'm currently hooked on the game duel masters, its not really hooked but i enjoy playing that game cause its so fun . iwill try to keep updating my blog cause my old one was a disaster. this is my new one and it will be currently updated, now that my exams are almost over. i guess i should be going for training now so bye......
